Re: Orange drop VS Chocolate drop
I love those brown drops and just used a couple in a brown 5F1 that I was reserving a 60s brown frame Jensen for. Sounds great. I just ran across Fleabay looking at caps and there are quite a few brown drops listed right now. Expensive, but I think I saw the values you're looking for. I also saw a b...

My favorite(s) would have to be split between Rock & Roll and Memphis. I particularly like Memphis for his beautiful clean sound.

TUBEDUDE and brewdude lol
Thanks for sharing! Very nice!
I'm not at all into wine as it so happens, but that's a great question! I do a fair amount of writing, musically and otherwise and mostly have been taking these ideas and getting them inked.

Re: Those that have built a Z Wreck & a Rocket...comparisons?
Almost forgot.... the resistors on the B+ rail are not the same as the Rocket and are set up like a traditional AC30.

Re: Those that have built a Z Wreck & a Rocket...comparisons?
The Z only has about three differences from the Rocket.... 1) Second stage bypass cap 2) A voltage divider at the PI entrance and 3) The comfort/speed switch that changes the plate voltage by about 40 volts or so. The Rocket has a more pristine clean sound and doesn't break up as much as early. You ...

Re: Lacquering Tweed Help

Re: Liverpool bias resistors and screen resistor ?
Since I just bought the 130 10W I'll use those, and if for some reason it seems the current is higher than I'd expect, I'll shut er down and order those. But I'm expecting the 130 would be better suited for the amp, I think my AC30 had a 170 or some such to keep it under 70% diss.. ~Phil Most on he...
